After I left Kenya last year in August, teaching the women of three villages on how to make ProjectLilly, I go devastating news from Nakuru. We couldn’t visit all the schools in the area. Just after the school holidays girl in the village committed suicide. Her teacher told her that she is filty and smell akward, because she could not afford to buy sanitary towels. Through our project it is now possible for the women to manufacture their own towels and distribute it.

ProjectLilly is urgently looking for volunteers to help us making material sanitary towels. Until now we supplied many school girls in the Northern Cape, Gauteng, Uganda and Kenya with towels. The business who sponsored a worker in our sewing room, is not able to do it anymore due to loss of income through Covid 19.

Therefor we are dependent on volunteers to help us.

If you are in the northern suburbs of Cape Town or Pretoria North area, please contact us so that we can connect you with a group.
